It’s a known fact that events like TrailerPark would never be possible with out its audience, it is defiantly the people who bring the energy, attitude, coolness and not least the party. With out all of you there would be no TrailerPark!
This year though it has been possible for the guests to leave very real and tangible mark on the festival, a personal signature if you will. Three examples are the Hvass&Hannibal house, the HeartRebels wall and the Onesto Mong “happy delivery” book.
Hvass&Hannibal decorated one of the two small houses inside the skate park, it is painted by them in their characteristic colours and pattern, but many of the blank spot functions as a blackboard. Inside the house they have installed a big bucket of coloured chalk. Friday afternoon there were only two lines there, spelling out “Sailor Knark – Trailer Park” – Since then the house has been ever so intensely decorated by festival guests, and well, since it’s only chalk, there is probably a creative way to make space for a little doodle of your own.
Across the room HeartRebels have their “send a message”-wall, here you can really put your thoughts out into the world. By donating 200 kr. you get to write what ever on your mind. The message and money is then sent to a youth house in Palestine! You will receive a photograph of your message on a similar wall in Palestine by email. Pretty brilliant and pretty wonderful initiative.
An other option is to go to the “Happy Delivery” festival toilet, here, among plastic flowers, incense and soap bubbles you will find a guest book. This is the perfect place to confess your darkest secretes or maybe read the latest festival rumour. Check it out!
