Of the Valley aka Brian DellaValle is a Canadian native singer/songwriter and long term resident in Copenhagen. He moved to Denmark to pursue an education within Neuroscience. DellaValle delivers a lyrical payload with a soothing baritone and a soaring falsetto casting the songs as personal and intimate, yet connecting to something more universal. DellaValle's work has drawn comparisons to older pioneers of songcraft Leonard Cohen, Johnny Cash, and Van Morrision with a modern ambiance in the vein of Bon Iver, Sigur Ros and The National. He uses poetry as an active part in his music which is also folk inspired.
